Cross-country skiing trails

Those who love the cross-country skiing will enjoy up to 20 km of cross-country skiing trails around the town provided the weather conditions are favourable. There are three starting points – the first one at the end of the Karlova street (follow the green marked hiking trail from the square towards the Kašperk castle). The second starting point is in the part of the town called Cikánka at the end of the street Zahradní. You will find the third starting point close to the bus stop Kašperské Hory Žlíbek.

This is the starting point to the trail around the Ždánov hill.

The region of Kašperské Hory is integrated to the Bílá Stopa Šumava (Bohemian Forest Cross-Country Skiing Trail System) that coordinates all cross-country skiing trails from the south to the west of the Bohemian Forest.

If you wish to have exact and timely information on the condition of cross-country skiing trails, download information leaflets on individual localities.
